Dee Why SLSC - Patrol Members Survey - 2026 - OPEN until 24th May

9 May by Fiona Ronge

Please find below a Patrolling Members survey for season 2025/26.
If you have been involved with our Patrols (in any capacity) we would appreciate it if you could please take a few minutes before 24th May to complete the survey.
We last surveyed our Patrol members in May 2024 and feedback from that survey was subsequently used to drive initiatives such as the Patrol Rash vest, Bumbags, IRB-hats, Towels, Whistles, Free Coffee/Milkshakes for Patrols, the Patrol Trailer Upgrade, complimentary fob/gym access, greater flexibility in patrol obligations and many more. We also used data from that survey in Grant Applications for Training & Patrol equipment and building upgrades (many of which are taking place during this off-season).
In short - we're surveying you to get your ideas on how we can make our Patrolling members' experience at Dee Why SLSC even better.
Thank you everyone for all the great work that has been done this season. I hope you enjoyed your season. We collectively patrolled over 9,000 hours at Dee Why beach, setting a new Club record, and even on the final day, 36 members turned up for a voluntary patrol.
We should also be very proud of what we have achieved!

A huge thank you to our Vice Club Captain, Shankar Pariyar, who modified Dannii's excellent 2024 survey to be relevant for 2026.
If you have any questions or queiries regarding the Survey please contact Shankar directly at vice.club.captain@dyslsc.org.au.
Lastly - our awesome Uniform Officer, Jo Rosenthal, has just put the finishing touches on an order for an upgraded Dee Why swimwear range in adult sizes.
One lucky respondent to the survey will win a free set of the new swimwear.
Note - any contact details given for the swimwear competition are not linked to survey answers.
Best Regards,
Lachlan, Shankar and Cam.
