SLS Sydney Northern Beaches Branch will be running 4 official’s courses over the coming weeks. These courses are intended to be the face-to-face component of the official’s course and will include the live heats training. 

The dates are: 

 - Friday 25th October, 6:30 PM at the Branch Office 

 - Friday 15th November 6:30PM at Freshwater SLSC 

 - Saturday 7th December 9:00am at the Branch Office 

 - Saturday 16th November, 7:30 Newport SLSC – this is for boat officials only and will run prior to the Newport Boat Carnival with a in depth practical session happening during the carnival.

 There is no award requirement for becoming an official and any member of a surf club can complete the course, additionally being an official contributes service hours and can be used to make up part of the patrol hours competition requirement/eligibility.

 If you have a group of officials ready to complete the face to face session outside these dates, please let Tony Hilliger  officials@surflifesaving.net.au know and he can organise a smaller session at your club.
